Luis Medina, Patrick Flowers, and Matt Rooney react to the Bears' 31-7 loss to Green Bay, examine the defense’s collapse and Chicago’s growing need at cornerback, and look ahead to the Falcons.
The Bleacher Nation Bears Podcast is picking up the pieces after a rough 31-7 loss to the Packers and trying to separate the short-term frustrations from the bigger-picture concerns.
Hosts Luis Medina, Patrick Flowers, and Matt Rooney discuss why the offensive struggles are a little easier to stomach with Tyson Bagent under center, while the defensive collapse raises much more serious questions. The biggest concern now is the secondary, where cornerback has emerged as a clear need as the trade deadline approaches.
The guys discuss whether the Bears have the draft capital and motivation to make a move, what kind of help the defense actually needs, and how much one addition could realistically change things. From there, they turn the page to the Falcons matchup and run through their broader thoughts on the roster, individual player performances, and where this team stands entering the next stretch of the season.
